Hello there Regen,

when talking about aspects there are first some basic things that you need to understand. There are 8 aspects in total and 8000 aspect points in total. Each aspect starts with a thousand points. That being said, there are two ways of transferring aspect points - directly and indirectly.

Each aspect has its own opposite aspect, meaning, every single one can be directly raised by its opposing one.
Example: you have order 1000 and chaos 1000. In story mode you are given an option to terrorize. You click it. After that option you will have 1003 aspect points of chaos and 995 aspect points of order.

Why is that? This is where indirect way comes in. Every action that grants you aspect points will split to its neighbouring aspects - meaning
you will deduct 5 from order, gain 3 in chaos and gain 1 to neighbouring aspects, in this case it is corruption and destruction.

You can't get benefits because you probably only do direct way of transfering points, but to get to rank 3 of any aspect, you will have to transfer them indirectly among others..

You get benefits by reaching thresholds - 1750 - 2500 - 5000 aspect points.

But this might as well mean nothing to you, so let me put it this way.

If you want to increase order to the max, you have to do the following:

Pick points that give you order, such as brave or escort.
Pick points that give you knowledge (because every time you pick action that gives you knowledge, it will also give you points of order), such as observe or examine.
Pick points that give you nature (same as above), such as hide (accept also gives you nature but you should avoid it since "Hide" is everywhere to be found!)
Absolutely avoid options that raise chaos (because it will deduct your order, which you are trying to raise), such as terrorize or set everything alight.

I hope you see where I'm going with this - raise all neighbouring aspects and the main one - avoid the one that is opposite of your main one which you are trying to raise.

After you've done it this way, there will be one more thing to do. There will be excess of points in one aspect, most likely in corruption if you are raising order.
What you need to do is:

Constantly pick options that raise both corruption and nature - why - because every time you raise nature, you get a point of order. So, you are just playing around with two aspects, until you have transfered enough to your main one.

I personally like this setup, and these are the best in my opinion:

Order rank 3 + nature rank 2 while leveling (because order rank 3 gives you +75000 health and +25 defence, which is extremely needed in leveling fast) until level 230 - on which you take talent called victory rush, which will replenish your health once you defeat your foe.
At that point, you don't need order rank 3, and you switch it to what suits you the best.

For PvP (also, 230+ for me) there is one setup I like the most.

It's:
nature rank 3 + destruction rank 2

this will give you +10 bonus hit chance which will be extremely useful + you will get +30 bonus damage on top of it.

If you need a bit more detailed info about this, feel free to PM me and tell me which aspects you want, I will tell you which options you should pick in story mode and which to avoid, also which path you should take.

But the best advice would be just to check the list in Aspects post and what each aspect gives you, play with a character that will be just for training, learn about each of the aspects and then it will come naturally! Practice makes perfect
